SPOKANE, Wash. — Over 30,000 Avista customers in Spokane, Spokane Valley, and the Chattaroy area are experiencing a power outage.
According to the Avista outage map, power went out around 4:30 p.m., coinciding with the issuance of a dust storm warning in parts of Spokane and eastern Washington.
Avista expects power to be restored by approximately 7:30 p.m. tonight, though the cause of the outage remains unknown.
