PULLMAN, Wash. – The Pullman Police Department rescued a racoon whose paw was stuck inside a trap on Friday.
According to the department, a local called police to report that the animal had become trapped.
Code Enforcement Officers responded to the call and helped unshackle the mammal.
“The raccoon is grateful to be free, and we are grateful to the caring person who called us for help!” the department said.
