Pullman Village Centre Cinema closing this week

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Pullman Village Centre Cinema will permanently close its doors this Thursday.

The theater posted the announcement to the Village Centre Cinema website and thanked patrons for watching movies there over the years.

“We want to thank Pullman for the 21 years of support! Please come and help us make these last few days at the Pullman theatre memorable!” the statement said.

Higher taxes and the increase of Washington’s minimum wage laws were the reasons given by the cinema for its closure. The Village Centre Cinemas chain will continue to operate Idaho venues in Moscow and Lewiston.
