BENEWAH COUNTY, Idaho — A woman is dead after a crash in Benewah County on Tuesday.
The crash happened on US 95 near milepost 379 around 11:23 a.m. Idaho State Police confirmed a 45-year-old woman from Pullman crashed head-on into another car. The other driver was taken to the hospital via helicopter.
US 95 was blocked in both directions for about four hours. A single lane is open while crews continue to investigate.
The woman’s identity will be released when appropriate.
