PULLMAN, Wash. – Pullman’s police chief is facing serious allegations of domestic violence and assault. A protection order petition has been filed by a woman who claims she was in a relationship with Chief Jake Opgenorth .

The petition alleges that Opgenorth was aggressive toward her and continued to harass her after their breakup. Court records indicate that Opgenorth has been ordered to surrender his personal and department-issued guns.

NonStop Local has reached out to the mayor’s office for a statement, but they declined to comment.

We have also reached out to Opgenorth’s lawyer but have not yet heard back.
