RATHDRUM, Idaho — Residents in Rathdrum have been asked to remove any recreation or transportation items or vehicles off of the streets to prepare for the upcoming winter.
According to a Facebook post from the Rathdrum Police Department, all recreational vehicles, boats, trailers and basketball hoops must be removed from the street. These things make it difficult to plow neighborhood roads and could potentially trap the vehicles in piles of snow.
A Code Enforcement Officer will begin to stop by homes that have not removed these things starting the second week of October.
