Red Cross opens shelter for those displaced by downtown Spokane apartment fire

SPOKANE, Wash. – The American Red Cross in Spokane announced it will open a shelter for those displaced by a fire at a downtown Spokane apartment.

According to the Red Cross, the emergency shelter .

Red Cross teams are en route and arranging for dinner to be delivered. The shelter is set to open at 9:15 p.m.

Red Cross said that the shelter will include food, cots and other immediate needs.
