SPOKANE, Wash. – A regular customer of a local gas station ran into the front of the store destroying it. This is the second time in just three months the gas station faced the same misfortune.

Around 10 a.m. a woman crashed into the gas station convenience store on the 300 block of South Thor Street.

The woman told police that she thought she was in reverse when she stepped on the gas accelerating her car into the front windows of the store.

For the Thor Street convenience store this wasn’t the first time they had seen a car inside their business.

Store employees told NonStop Local that just over three months ago another car hit the store leaving destruction to the other side of the building.

The woman who crashed into the store was given a field sobriety test and passed with officers labeling the crash as an accident.

Both her and her car left the crash nearly unscathed as she was able to drive her car home from the crash.

The woman was very apologetic with the store and employees even recognized her as a regular that visits the business.

The store was left with significant damage, but no criminal charges were given out.

No one was injured in the incident.
