SPOKANE, Wash—The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will close the right lane of I-90 westbound for electrical work.

WDSOT warns that travelers who use westbound I-90 in downtown Spokane should plan additional travel time to avoid delays as WSDOT crews are working to replace electrical wiring and repair the overhead lights on the Latah Creek Bridge just west of downtown.

Crews will close the right lane of westbound I-90 from Jefferson Street to approximately halfway up Sunset Hill from 4 a.m. until noon on Sunday, June 9.

WSDOT said that drivers should move over a lane and slow down through the work zone.
