Riverkeepers teach history of Spokane River while floating downstream

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Riverkeeper team shared insightful information about the local ecosystem and history of the river.

According to the Spokane Riverkeeper organization, attendees were encouraged to bring their boats, kayaks, tubes, rafts, or paddleboards to the event.

The event began on Sunday, July 21 at 1 p.m. at Sandifur Bridge with the aim of educating people about the history and local ecosystem of the Spokane River, as well as the work of the Riverkeeper teams.
