CHATTAROY, Wash. — A paraeducator at Riverside Elementary School is being investigated for possible possession of child pornography.
According to a letter sent on March 8th from the school district, no Riverside student was involved and all students are safe. The paraeducator also serves as a coach at Riverside High School.
According to the school district, they were notified by the sheriff’s office, and immediately placed the paraeducator on administrative leave. The suspect was relieved of all duties assigned to them and will remain off school grounds, with no contact with staff or students until the case is resolved.
At this time, the school will not share the suspect’s name.
