Rogers High School in ‘secure and teach’ lockdown Tuesday morning

SPOKANE, Wash. – Rogers High School is in a modified lockdown Tuesday morning due to an alleged incident outside the school.

The school sent out a notification email to parents stating that a “secure and teach” modified lockdown was in place around 11 a.m. Tuesday.

“Secure and teach” is a modified lockdown that allows normal school operations to continue, with all students directed to stay in place and lock doors.

Rogers High School did not disclose the details of the incident that occurred outside the school.

Parents who plan to pick up their children outside of normal school hours should reach out to the school directly for information.
