RUSSIA – Russia has reportedly moved “tens of thousands of troops” in an effort to retake land in the Kursk region. Ukraine’s military has occupied parts of this territory since August, according to NBC News.

In related developments, The Washington Post has reported that President-elect Donald Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday. However, Politico has noted that Kyiv was ‘unaware’ of this call and questioned its occurrence.

The Kremlin has also cast doubt on whether the call took place.

Meanwhile, the BBC confirmed that President-elect Trump had a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for about 30 minutes. The discussion also included billionaire Elon Musk.
