SPOKANE, Wash. – In recognition of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, multiple medication take back events in eastern Washington and northern Idaho will be held on Saturday, April 27.
Organized by the Drug Enforcement Administration nationwide, Saturday’s events are a part of an effort to rid homes of unwanted prescription drugs, ensure public safety and health, and prevent medication misuse.
Community members can safely drop off either expired, unused or unwanted prescription drugs as well as vaping devices and cartridges at any of the locations throughout the region from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

Outside of Take Back Day, unwanted prescription drugs can be dropped off at various collection sites anytime in Washington and Idaho.
