SAGLE, Idaho — The Idaho Transportation Department will announce updated plans for the U.S. Highway 95 improvements in Sagle at a public meeting on Wednesday.
According to the Idaho Department of Transportation (IDT), the public is open to ask questions or give their input on the construction plan to renovate the U.S. Highway 95 corridor from Dufort Road to Lakeshore Drive.
The project information will be on display on Oct. 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Sagle Elementary School on 550 Sagle Road. Project staff will be there to answer any questions about the project.
“We have updated our preferred concept based on continued engineering work and community input,” Project Manager CarrieAnn Hewitt said. “We appreciate the community’s interest in this project and the feedback we have received so far.”
According to ITD, The design plans have been updated since the Fall of 2023. The improved plans propose widening the highway, building interchanges, construction underpasses and updating the frontage road network.
