According to the Sandpoint Police Department, video surveillance footage connected 50-year-old Jennifer Meyer to the Independence Day fire.
“On July 16, 2024, Meyer was interviewed at the Sandpoint PD and subsequently taken into custody for 1st-degree Arson,” the sheriff’s office said.
The sheriff’s office is still looking for information on the fire which and is requesting tips at (208) 265-1482.
