Santa Claus is coming to SCRAPS but he’s left his reindeer and sleigh at the North Pole. On Monday December 18th at 11 a.m. he is arriving at the shelter in a 1964 black El Camino along with a few of his friends with classic cars.
Santa is actually Chuck Gaylord, a member of the Wanderers Car Club, and he coming to SCRAPS to make a donation to help the animals in our care. He is also bringing a challenge to other car clubs in the area to help out homeless, abused and abandoned animals that are brought to SCRAPS.
“This time of year is always a special time for us here at SCRAPS,” said Janet Dixon, Special Programs Manager. “Having Santa arrive with a donation and a couple of muscle cars makes it unique, as well.”
