WALLACE, Idaho – The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an elderly man who fell into the North Fork of the Coeur d’ Alene River on Friday.
According to the sheriff’s office, an initial report of a fisherman drowning was responded to by several search and rescue teams, a K9 team and the Coeur d’ Alene fire department.
Both sheriff’s deputies and Kootenai County Volunteer Search and Rescue are currently looking for the man, who fell into the water at around 5 pm Friday evening.
