GRANT COUNTY, Wash. – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 54-year-old man.
According to the sheriff’s office, Richard Smith was last seen on Oct. 3 wearing dark Adidas running pants with a shirt and jacket on his way to go fishing.
Smith is 5 feet 9 inches tall, 180 pounds and is bald with a white goatee.
His truck was found at Medicare Beach without his 12 foot aluminum boat. His cellphone is dead and evidence shows that his boat was put into the water.
The sheriff’s office does not suspect foul play at this time and asks the public to call (509) 762-1160 with any pertinent information.
