SPOKANE, Wash. — A second teenage victim has died following a crash on U.S. Highway 2 last Wednesday.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), 18-year-old Shayanne Cicherski of Fruitland died in the hospital on Monday.
Officials said the crash also claimed the life of 16-year-old Sweeny Holt-Stearns of Wellpinit, who died shortly after being hospitalized.
that Cicherski was driving on Wood Road when the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and entered U.S. Highway 2. The car went underneath a westbound semi-truck and became lodged under the trailer.
