SPOKANE, Wash. – A semi-crash blocked I-90 overnight in Spokane amid icy road conditions in the region.
A crash occurred on I-90 around 1:45 a.m. when a semi-truck slid and hit the center barrier near the Jefferson Street on-ramp. The crash caused a traffic backup.
Washington State Patrol reported that two lanes were blocked due to the crash. Traffic was detoured around the scene shortly after 2 a.m. The area was fully cleared by 3 a.m. allowing traffic to resume.
Drivers are advised to remain cautious as similar conditions are expected to continue.
