Semi-truck crash on U.S. 395 near Chewelah causes traffic delays and serious injury

CHEWELAH, Wash. — A semi-truck crash on U.S. 395 caused traffic delays as roads were blocked.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the crash occurred today, Aug. 2, at around 3:46 p.m. on the northbound side of U.S. 395 at milepost 200, seven miles south of Chewelah.

WSP reported that one person was seriously injured, but their current status is unknown.

The affected roads have since reopened.
