Shelter in place in Moran Prairie neighborhood for possible armed suspects

SPOKANE, Wash. – Residents in the Moran Prairie neighborhood are under a shelter in place after police say suspects in the area could be armed.

The Spokane Police Department is warning residents from South Meadows Road to Custer Road and 65th Ave to 73rd Ave to stay inside their homes.

SPD says that a witness reported a suspect with a gun in the area. Police also say there are multiple suspects in the area being searched in connection to a stolen car.

K9’s and drones are being used to assist local police in the search. Anyone with information should contact crime check at (509) 456-2233.
