DESERT AIRE, Wash. — Grant County deputies are investigating a shooting that left two people injured, one of whom is in critical condition.
The shooting occurred around 8:15 p.m. on Monday at Desert Aire Park. According to a spokesperson from the sheriff’s office, the two victims with gunshot wounds drove to a nearby address on Thunderbird Way. One of the victims, who sustained critical injuries, was airlifted to a regional hospital by helicopter. The second victim, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, chose not to seek medical treatment, according to the sheriff’s office.
Grant County detectives said they are currently on the scene, working to piece together the details of the shooting. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information to come forward and contact them at 509-762-1160.
