Shoshone County traffic stop leads to drug trafficking arrests

SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho – A routine traffic stop in Shoshone County resulted in the arrest of four individuals on multiple drug charges related to meth and fentanyl.

Shoshone County Deputies, with assistance from Pinehurst Police Department, conducted the stop Thursday. During the investigation, deputies discovered several hidden compartments containing large quantities of controlled substances.

The four occupants of the car were charged with trafficking fentanyl, with over 500 pills found, and trafficking methamphetamine, among other charges.
