KELLOGG, Idaho – Silver Mountain, a popular ski resort in North Idaho, reopened Sunday morning at 8:15 a.m. after being closed the previous day due to severe weather conditions.

The resort had to close on Saturday because winds were stronger than forecasted, which posed a potential danger to skiers and snow tubers.

Silver Mountain announced the reopening with the added excitement of four inches of fresh snow, offering improved conditions for visitors.
