SPOKANE, Wash. – A small brush fire burning near Spokane International Airport was knocked down by fire crews Sunday evening.
The fire could be seen from planes departing the airport as Washington Department of Natural Resources and county firefighters responded to the fire.
Several fires burned across Spokane on Monday, including a small blaze at Bowl and Pitcher in Riverside State Park.
