SPOKANE, Wash. – A fire on the South Hill led to one person being transported to the hospital with burns on Tuesday.
The blaze began in an upstairs unit of an eight unit apartment on W 8th Avenue and S Jefferson Street. According to emergency responders on scene, at least one dog was rescued from the building.
As of 12:30 pm, the fire is mostly knocked down. Several units have sustained smoke and water damage, and one person has been sent to the hospital with burns.
