SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Boxing Gym will hold a lemonade stand Saturday to fundraise for a girls travel team to compete at the All Women’s Tournament in Auburn.
According to Rick Welliver, the founder of Spokane Boxing, the fundraiser will help young athletes travel across the state to compete alongside other boxers throughout Washington.
“Come to the gym and have a hotdog and a glass of lemonade! Help our female boxers raise some $$$ to compete in an All Women’s Tournament in Auburn!” Welliver said via social media.
Attendees can enjoy lemonade, hot dogs and baked goods at the gym located on 115 South Jefferson Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
