SPOKANE, Wash. – Six downtown Spokane businesses are set to receive more than $26,000 in grant funds, thanks to the Downtown Spokane Partnership and BECU Philanthropy.

The Small Business Façade Enhancement Grant Program, launched earlier this year, aims to improve the appearance and functionality of business entrances and building façades. The upgrades are expected to positively impact both the businesses and the broader downtown neighborhood.

The businesses benefiting from these grants include 24 Taps Burgers & Brews, Heritage Kitchen & Bar, House of Brunch, Italian Kitchen, O’Doherty’s Irish Grille, and The Mango Tree.

Grantees are planning various upgrades, such as outdoor dining patios and the addition of artwork on the street-facing portions of their businesses.

These enhancements aim to enrich the pedestrian experience in downtown Spokane, fostering a more vibrant and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.
