SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane City Council confirmed Kevin Hall as the new police chief in a meeting on Monday night.
The appointment was approved unanimously, with Councilmember Jonathan Bingle absent.
, has over 30 years of experience with the Tucson Police Department in Arizona, where he has served as Assistant Chief of Police since 2016.
Hall has extensive experience in special services, home invasions, homicides, SWAT, child abuse, mental health support and more.
He is set to begin his role with SPD on Aug. 26.
