SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane’s City Council is set to vote on the city’s budget for the next two years. This decision comes after months of work to resolve a reported $50 million deficit.

City officials have highlighted their success in balancing the budget through a mix of cuts and additional funding. A significant part of this solution includes a sales tax approved by Spokane voters in November.

The vote is scheduled to take place Monday night.
