SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown ordered that today all city flags be lowered to half-staff to remember United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal Donovan Davis.
Davis died as a result of an aviation accident on Feb. 7 and the memorial service to honor his life will be March 1, at the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island Chapel.
In a statement about his death and memorial Brown said “Spokane sends its deepest sympathies and condolences to Lance Corporal Davis’ family, friends, and colleagues. I encourage anyone with a flag outside of their home or business to join us in this recognition to honor his memory.”
