Spokane County boat and watercraft registrations expire in June

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – The Spokane County government has announced the deadline for renewing boat and watercraft registration decals.

According to county officials, all boat registrations in Washington State expire on June 30. Boat owners can renew registrations either online or in person at a local vehicle licensing office.

Spokane County requests that if you choose to renew your boat registration in person, you note the registration number located on the boat’s bow and bring that information along. A comprehensive list of Spokane area licensing offices and their operating hours is available at www.spokanecounty.org/auditor. Some local offices are also open on Saturdays to facilitate quick renewals.

It’s important to note that the State Department of Licensing no longer sends renewal notices via mail. However, boat owners can receive email renewal notices for their boats by signing up on the Department of Licensing website at www.dol.wa.gov.
