SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) and Search and Rescue (SAR) are currently searching for an 83-year-old man reported missing and are seeking assistance from the community.

According to SCSO, on May 29, a family member of Robert W. Webb called to report him missing, stating he had not been seen or heard from in approximately two days. Concerned about his welfare, they checked his residence near the intersection of East Tallman Road and North Jackson Road, but he was not there.

Deputies mentioned that Webb lives alone and is known to go on walks, but his absence for this extended period is unusual. Given his dementia and overall health, there are fears he may have become lost or injured while out walking.

SCSO deputies dispatched a search and rescue team to locate Webb, but as of May 30, he has not been found.

Described as an 83-year-old white male, approximately 5’09”, 155 lbs., with short gray hair, gray eyes, and a goatee or unshaven facial hair, Webb’s clothing at the time of his disappearance is uncertain. Deputies said he typically wears a dark hoodie and black sweatpants.

Deputies urge anyone with information regarding Robert W. Webb’s whereabouts or sightings to contact Crime Check at 509-456-2233 or 911, referencing #10074216.
