Spokane County deputies seeks public’s help to locate runaway teens

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance in locating two runaway teens.

On July 28, staff from PNW Helping Hand reported that two of the missing teens, 13-year-old Kristena Van Eycke and 16-year-old Trinity M. Hoppens-Elmore, had left the PNW Helping Hands home near North Evergreen Road and East Wellesley Avenue around 9 p.m. The reason for their departure and their intended destination are unknown.

The sheriff’s office notes that both teens are known to frequent the Downtown Library or the general Downtown Spokane area.

Van Eycke is described as a 13-year-old white female, approximately 5’01”, 150 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a green football graphic, white tights, and black boots.

Hoppens-Elmore is described as a 16-year-old white female, approximately 5’07”, 145 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black tights, a black tank top, a gray hoodie, and white sneakers.
