SPOKANE, Wash. – Firefighters from Spokane County 3 stopped a brush fire that had burned 3 acres of land northeast of Cheney.
According to Spokane County Fire District 3, on the afternoon of May 29, Spokane Fire 3 firefighters were dispatched to a brush fire in the 10300 Block of South Ridge Park Lane.
Firefighters reported that the fire, spanning approximately 3/10th of an acre, was ignited by materials in a burn pile that rekindled and spread to the surrounding brush.
