SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – Firefighters from Spokane County Fire District 10 received a grant of over $60,000 to commemorate National First Responders Day.
The fire department celebrated the occasion at an event hosted by Amazon and the Gary Sinise Foundation.
According to a Facebook post from the Airway Heights Police Department, the ceremony featured the presentation of a $62,120 grant to Spokane Fire District 10. Following the presentation, Amazon volunteers provided first responders with a complimentary lunch.
