SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane County Sheriff’s Department and the East Valley Coalition are hosting a drug take back event to help people get rid of unused or expired medications.
On Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. several locations across Washington and Idaho will be open for people to come and safely drop off the medications.
People who drop off their medications also have the opportunity to take home a free lock box.
The sheriff’s office has asked people to not drop off vaping devices, illicit drugs, IV solutions, syringes or oxygen containers.
