Spokane County to host public roundtables on 2025 Budget

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — The Spokane County Board of Commissioners announced that they will host three public roundtable discussions on the proposed 2025 budget, leading up to a final budget hearing in December.

According to a press release from the Spokane County Office, the roundtable events will provide opportunities for the public to observe and participate in the budget process. Citizens can join virtually on the following dates and times to offer their testimony:

– Sept. 24 at 2 p.m.

Presentation on 2025 budget revenue estimates with public testimony.

– Oct. 15 at 5:30 p.m.

Presentation on 2025 budget expenditure estimates with public testimony.

– Nov. 5 at 2 p.m.

Presentation on 2025 budget totals with public testimony.

The final hearing for budget adoption will take place on:

– Dec. 2 at 9 a.m.

Residents are encouraged to participate in these sessions to provide input on the county’s budgetary plans.
