SPOKANE, Wash. – The Hatch Road construction project moves into new stage and the county is advising residents of closures.
The Hatch Road construction project will begin the paving process on Sept. 21 around 7 a.m. stripping access to any traffic for most of the day.
Washington State Department of Transportation and the Spokane County say that they are ‘ahead of schedule’ and that this will allow them to cover the rock and reduce dust issues.
Additionally, conducting the paving on a non-school day is intended to minimize the impact on residents and students.
Local residents attempting to enter, or exit may face delays if the asphalt is still hot and are advised to plan accordingly.
