SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Fire Department has launched a new fire safety house which will instruct students on how to safely respond to a fire.
The small mobile home was developed with city council funding and will be used across the Spokane Public School District.
Students will be able to learn about potential fire hazards and the importance of responsibly reacting to flames in a safe environment.
Spokane firefighters started using the custom unit for instructional purposes this month.
