SPOKANE, Wash. – Bloomsday is an iconic event for the Lilac City. The Spokane Fire Department is preparing for the Sunday run and will be ready for any potential medical emergencies.
Both police and fire officials have coordinated emergency preparation plans for Sunday, as is the case for several major Spokane events such as Hoopfest and Expo ‘74 celebrations.
The department will also operate a water station on the course and encourages runners to stay hydrated.
