SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Fire Department saved a house after a nearby garage caught on fire and was destroyed on Tuesday.
Around 5 p.m. on Tuesday the SFD responded to the 800 block of East Glass Avenue for reports of a home that was threatened by a garage fire.
They arrived and found a garage that was engulfed in flames and began deploying hoses to attempt to save the nearby house.
The quick response prevented the spread of the fire and saved an estimated property valued at over $230k.
The garage was lost in the fire and damages are estimated to around $30k and a full investigation into the fire is underway.
The tenants in the house were not displaced and no injuries were reported in the incident.
