Spokane firefighters rescue dog stuck in concrete wall

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane firefighters rescued a dog after its head became stuck in a concrete wall.

According to the Spokane Fire Department (SFD), firefighters responded to a call about a dog whose head was trapped in a concrete block wall. Using a hydraulic spreader from their vehicle extrication equipment, they carefully crushed part of the block, allowing the dog to free itself without injury.

The dog was happy and gave its owner hugs after being freed.
