SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane County Fire District 9 responded to a stray kitten that had fallen and gotten stuck inside a chimney.
The firefighters discovered that the kitten was walking along the roof when it fell down a chimney opening on Monday morning.
After gaining access to the chimney, they were able to remove the kitten and started giving it oxygen. After further examination the kitten appeared to have no major injuries.
The kitten made quite the entrance into its new home and will now be staying with the homeowners.
