SPOKANE, Wash. – Thousands of high school students in Spokane are preparing to attend a unique opportunity that might change their futures. A college fair organized by Spokane Public Schools will allow students to connect with numerous college representatives.

The event welcomes students from 9:00 a.m. to noon and promises insights into campus life, academic programs, and more.

Students can learn about campus size, location, academic support, tutoring, clubs, event costs, and amenities such as gym facilities. The atmosphere on campus, especially on game days, is also a topic of interest.

Emily Gwinn, a Spokane Public Schools college advisor, emphasizes the ongoing benefits of these connections. “If you make a point of contact with someone with the University of Montana at this event… that’s your go-to person for all questions. Now you’ve got a face, you’ve got an email, you’ve got someone you can reach out to throughout your application process… so those college reps are here not just to promote their schools, but also they’re your point of contact,” Gwinn said.

The event, organized by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), promises to deliver vital information that prospective students and their parents need. Those attending can inquire about program specifics, pricing, and scholarship opportunities.

Attendees have the chance to forge relationships with college representatives who might assist with future queries. This can significantly reduce anxiety about college logistics and affordability.

For those interested in attending the event, registration is recommended, and you can click here for more information.
