SPOKANE, Wash. – A Spokane man was arrested on June 19 for allegedly walking into an ice cream shop, putting portions of the dessert in a plastic bag and punching an employee after he was confronted.
According to the Spokane Police Department, the man was spotted smuggling the treats into a plastic bag and became violent when an employee attempted to recover the ice cream.
Police say the tussle resulted in the suspect kicking the glass doors of the establishment and screaming at several employees. He was quickly arrested after officers arrived and is facing burglary and assault charges.
