Spokane man arrested for child rape after police find him hiding in his house

SPOKANE, Wash. – The U.S. Marshals Office and the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man after being accused of raping a 13-year-old.

Jamell Clogg, 38, was arrested on Wednesday after the U.S. Marshall Violent Offender Task Force team found him hiding inside his home near 2300 block of East 1st Avenue on Wednesday.

He faces two counts of child rape, two counts of child molestation, possession of child sex abuse material and indecent exposure.

“The partnerships that the United States Marshals Service has with our counterparts in state, local, federal, and tribal law enforcement make possible the excellent results, that are exemplified with this case.” said U.S. Marshal Craig Thayer.
