SPOKANE, Wash. – A Spokane man was arrested and charged after he allegedly raped an eight-year-old child in Airway Heights, before fleeing to Oregon.
The United States Marshals Service reported that Brandon Frackenpohl, 34, was apprehended without incident by U.S. Marshals and Klamath County Sheriff deputies. The arrest took place an hour outside of Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Frackenpohl reportedly raped and molested the child on June 30 in Airway Heights.
Marshals stated that Frackenpohl left Washington shortly after this alleged incident. An arrest warrant was issued for him by Spokane County Superior Court on September 18.
Frackenpohl faces one count of first-degree rape of a child and one count of first-degree child molestation. He is currently in county jail, waiting to be extradited back to Washington state.
